Leicester Marina - a home to an abundance of wildlife
At Leicester Marina we have lots of friendly faces; our residents, short term visitors, staff and local wildlife.
Not only do we have many geese that call Leicester Marina home but also we have lots of friendly ducks that often are spotted on the top of the boats moored at the Marina.
Being adjacent to the Country Park also enables us to benefit from a local habitat that has even produced local orchids.
Allotments are located to the rear of the Marina also to encourage people to grow their own produce and these have been very popular.
